Since 2009 Horsten International is a certified service provider ("Erkend Dienstverlener") under the KMO-portefeuille subsidy program of the Flemish Government. Starting from 1 April 2016 a new system is put in place, which simplifies the system and also changes the conditions under which SME's from the Flanders Region can receive subsidies.

Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (in Dutch: Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen) is a government agency, charged with implementing the economic, innovation and enterprise policy in Flanders, the Dutch speaking northern part of Belgium.

The agency helps companies with the startup of their activities, the growth and continuity of their business, but also with the search for the right location, information on permits, financing, investments in innovation and ecological technologies, and other topics.
