Chen Meng – Vice General Manager

Chen Meng is the Vice General Manager of the Horsten China office and has been working at Horsten since the beginning of 2004. He has a law degree from Xi’an University and is, in a very competent way, managing the Horsten Xi’an team.

As a professional staff member for years, he has an extensive experience in different industries and projects. A lot of his time is spent on the Spaas project, helping the famous candle company from Belgium with the sourcing of candles, glassware and many other products from China. Together with a few of his colleagues, Chen Meng coordinates all sourcing and closely monitors the quality controls, the logistics and the administrative work.

Over the years Chen Meng has developed into project management. He is responsible for several other business development and trading projects, advising some of Horsten’s customers for the selection of and negotiation with distribution partners in China, market research, communication and business development.

Chen Meng is married and proud father of a daughter. He is also the brother of Chen Yan, another long-time employee of Horsten. His hobbies are history, collection of knives and spending time with his family.
